| Before "Google" and "Ask Jeeves" and dot coms were making money hand over fist the Digital Industry Newspaper was known as Boston Software News. (the reason for the newspaper graphic behind the characters) The article was about a "net detective". When working on the illustration I thought, "Who would a net detective be affiliated with?" That's when the search engine placks came to mind. They're kind of like net detectives. | |||
