I am proud to be involved with the local Boy Scout troop in my town. We put together a monthly newsletter with stories about the trips and events we've done, a calendar for future events, and a word from the scout master and who ever else wishes to contribute to the publication. The troop's scribe writes most of the articles and I provide most of the photos and graphics. I edit, layout and publish the newsletter. In addition to the newsletter, I made a small web site for the troop so parents can see what the boys were up to on the latest camping trip. They can also download permission slips and notices that the boys seem to loose. The kids like seeing themselves in the newsletter and on line. The parents appreciate being informed to what's going on.
